Antoine Rousseau

We are delighted to have Antoine Rousseau from Paris, France, as our invited dance teacher. Antoine started dancing when he was 15 years old with a group of Scottish country dancers that a few years later became the Paris Branch. He attended the RSCDS Summer School in 1988 and it was a revelation with its creative mixture of fun, teaching, and social activities. Antoine has taught since the age of 21, first in Lyon during his studies, and then in Paris. He achieved his teaching certificate in 2009 and has taught at the RSCDS Summer School in St. Andrews ever since. In 2013 Antoine taught at TAC Summer School in New Brunswick, Canada; at the Australian Winter School in Perth; and the New Zealand Summer School in Cambridge. He will be teaching at the Spring Fling in Lyon in April 2014 and at Pinewoods in July 2014. We look forward to having Antoine here with us and are indeed fortunate to have such a highly acclaimed teacher for our Capital Weekend!!
