Catherine Shaw

We are delighted to have Catherine Shaw as our weekend dance teacher. Catherine began dancing at the age of 6 in London, Ontario and then rejoined 10 years later and never looked back. She gained her Teachering Certificate at TAC Summer School Candidate Course in 1990 and has since taught workshops across North America. She has also taught continuously within the London Ontario Branch for 25 years. She is a past Chair of the Teachers Association (Canada) and past Director of TAC Summer School and Candidate Course. You may also know her and her husband John as the co-managers of TACSound, the recorded music division of the TAC, for over 7 years. In her professional life, Catherine has been the founding Curator of two historical museums in Southwestern Ontario: the Elgin Military Museum in St. Thomas, Ontario and the Museum of the Ursuline Religious in Chatham, Ontario. She has been the Curator of the McIntosh Gallery at The University of Western Ontario for over 28 years.

We are indeed fortunate to have such a versatile and highly acclaimed teacher for our Capital Weekend!!
